Many of our problems come from conflict with others. Our problems are compounded when we are hurt deeply and the pain persists. The road to forgiveness can be very difficult, whether we are the one needing to forgive, or the one needing forgiveness. Research has shown that unforgiveness can contribute to many other emotional and spiritual issues such as depression, anxiety and broken relationships.
Forgiveness is not as simple as just letting go, or just trying to forget, and sometimes we all need help walking through the process. Understanding God's fogiveness and how forgiveness works among His people is crucial for living a life of joy and peace, yet so many of us just bury the hurts and ignore the issues when we need to be actively seeking healing and restoration.
